Position overview

Our client is looking for a Hunter-Style Salesperson to join their growing team and focus exclusively on business development within the BCBS customer base. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in long-cycle sales processes and has a solid track record in healthcare services sales.

Core responsibilities

 

  • New Business Development: Identify, engage and secure new contracts with BCBS and related healthcare customers.
  • Sales Target: Achieve a first-year revenue target of $6 million, guiding deals from prospecting through to closure in 6-8 month cycles.
  • Client Relationships: Build trust and maintain long-term connections with healthcare stakeholders to understand needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Strategic Selling: Drive solution-based sales with the client’s healthcare technology services, customising value propositions for client success.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with delivery and technical teams to ensure client alignment and service excellence.
