Position Overview

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimising the company’s digital communications strategy across multiple channels, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and emerging platforms. The role is key in driving audience engagement and delivering clear, compelling messaging that demystifies investing for the company’s community.

Working closely with a talented marketing team, this role offers the opportunity to shape communication strategies while gaining in-depth knowledge of investing through the company’s comprehensive training programmes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and refine multi-channel communication strategies to enhance audience engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to develop compelling, educational messaging.
  • Design and implement targeted campaigns to improve open rates, click-through rates, and user actions.
  • Maintain and optimise CRM systems, ensuring effective segmentation, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Conduct performance analysis, leveraging data-driven insights to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Identify trends, test new approaches, and ensure strategies remain ahead of industry best practices.
  • Develop clear, engaging content that simplifies complex financial concepts across all communication channels.
  • Implement security protocols to safeguard communications from phishing and cyber threats.
  • Work closely with content teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.

Capabilities Required

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in digital communications or email marketing, with a proven impact on revenue and engagement metrics.

  • Strong track record of improving key performance indicators such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

  • Experience managing CRM systems and email marketing platforms, with a preference for KEAP (or a willingness to fully learn it).

  • Expertise in email deliverability, spam prevention, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and apply insights.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and content teams.
