Position Overview

The Business Development Director will play a key role in driving new client acquisition and commercial growth, acting as the bridge between the production and accounts teams. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, securing briefs and RFPs, and expanding the agency’s client roster. The successful candidate will leverage their strong industry network to unlock new sectors and drive revenue growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to work within a dynamic team of 80+ individuals, delivering innovative content solutions across industries including Automotive, Consumer, Technology, Entertainment, Luxury, and Healthcare.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by identifying new clients, securing briefs and RFPs, and increasing year-on-year sales and gross profit.

  • Meet KPIs for monthly meetings, received briefs, outgoing proposals, and new client onboarding.

  • Work closely with internal teams to develop strategic responses to client briefs.

  • Collaborate with the wider commercial and production teams to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.

  • Expand the agency’s reach into new complementary sectors through an established network of marketing and communications leaders.

  • Develop compelling pitch materials, from briefing responses to full presentation decks.

  • Manage and nurture key client relationships, ensuring effective communication and long-term partnerships.

Capabilities Required
