A Shared Mission for Mental Health: Factotum and Corin & Co Join Forces

The Corin & Co Team

Factotum and Corin & Co are proud to announce a meaningful new partnership. At the heart of this initiative are our colleagues, our friends, our family—driving us to build a future where openness, compassion and mental wellbeing are fundamental values in every workplace. This alliance is a deeply personal and heartfelt commitment to reshaping how we address mental health in the workplace.

The Urgency to Address Mental Health

Every statistic tells a story, the numbers are stark and sobering:

  • 56% of small business owners have faced the crushing weight of poor mental health in the past year. These are more than just numbers; they are real people struggling with invisible battles.
  • 28% of employees have walked away from their jobs due to mental health issues, adding to the wave of the “Great Resignation.”
  • The economic impact is staggering—£57.4 billion lost annually due to mental health-related productivity decline. But beyond the financial cost lies the human cost, the missed opportunities and the unrealised potential.

These numbers are a call to action. They remind us that behind every statistic is a person who deserves support, understanding and compassion.

Our Commitment to Change

Our partnership with Corin & Co begins our journey to convert these numbers into narratives of hope and change. Here’s how we are planning to make a difference together:

  • Certified Training: We will be offering accredited mental health and suicide prevention training through Mental Health First Aid England and City & Guilds. This training about equipping people with the skills and tools needed to spot the signs that someone may be struggling and know how to support themselves and others.
  • Tailored Programmes: We can offer bespoke programmes, workshops and webinars, tailored to each individual business and team, based on the specific challenges being faced. These could be topics related to stress and burnout, psychological safety or DE&I.
  • Digital Solutions: We are able to develop digital programmes, providing flexible learning options. This will ensure that support is accessible whenever it’s needed. This is about meeting people where they are and ensuring that knowledge and upskilling on these important topics are just a click away.
  • Inspirational Speakers: Knowledgeable and inspiring speakers will be arranged for conferences, as well as team days, or for the whole organisation, to acknowledge wellbeing related calendar dates like Mental Health Awareness Week. This approach will facilitate learning from experts, stories and lived experiences
