The Opportunity:

As a 2nd/3rd Line IT Support Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of resolving advanced IT issues, managing Microsoft 365 administration and supporting both client and internal infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT support who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing to continuous improvement in IT services.

Your day-to-day might involve:

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for escalated IT issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services, including user management, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Managing Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, with a focus on seamless integration with Azure AD.
  • Maintaining and supporting Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), performing regular updates, maintenance, and backups.
  • Addressing network issues involving LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and routers, as well as assisting with configuration of network devices.
  • Supporting virtualised environments like Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Implementing and maintaining security policies, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and data security measures.
  • Contributing to infrastructure projects such as system migrations and new software deployments, requiring both on-site and remote client interactions.
  • Documenting solutions, configurations, and troubleshooting processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.

About you:

You’re a proactive and detail-oriented IT professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys tackling complex technical challenges. You have a proven track record in IT support and are ready to bring your expertise in Microsoft 365, server administration, and networking to our team.

It would be helpful to have:

  • Solid experience in 2nd/3rd line support, preferably in an MSP or similar setting.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and support (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Azure AD integration and Intune device management.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and devices (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Proficiency with virtualisation platforms like Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • PowerShell scripting for task automation.
  • Hands-on experience with backup solutions and identity management.
