We’re Hiring – Bookkeeping Apprentice

The Opportunity:

If you’re looking to launch a career in accounting and finance, a bookkeeping apprenticeship is a fantastic first step! This role combines on-the-job training with formal qualifications, allowing you to gain valuable practical experience while earning.

As a Bookkeeping Apprentice, you’ll play a supportive role within a finance team, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients.

Your day-to-day might involve:

• Data Entry: Processing invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions.
• Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank statements with company records.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage payments owed and collect payments.
• Software & Spreadsheets: Utilising accounting software (e.g., Xero) and spreadsheets for data analysis.
• Basic Reports & VAT: Assisting with preparing reports and potentially with VAT returns.

About you:

No prior bookkeeping experience is required. Apprenticeships are designed for individuals with a strong interest in finance and a knack for detail and accuracy. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and work towards a recognised qualification which is the AAT, accounting technicians qualification. You will get time off for studying and your exams. You courses and exam fees are fully paid for.

• You’re looking to lead into a full professional accountancy qualification
• You’re a great communicator
